Want to edit your own video footage but don’t have the capture facility to do so? With our AVI video to DVD service you can do just this.

A JEM Production will transfer your footage onto data DVD(s) that will enable you to edit on your home computer. All you have to do is download the AVI files onto your hard drive and then import them into the video editing software of your choice.

These are all the video formats we are able to transfer from
VHS-C – S-VHS-C – VHS – S-VHS – Video8 – Hi8 – Digital8 – Mini DV – DV – DVCAM

AVIs are very high quality uncompressed video, meaning their file sizes are extremely large. Every 15 minutes of your footage will take up about 4GB of your computer’s hard drive, which is an entire DVD. If you sent us 1 hour of footage in total, then you will receive 4 Data DVDs containing 15 minutes of footage on each disc and it would cost £60.

What you can expect from our AVI video to DVD service:

· Digitisation of your footage, from any number of video tapes using professional video editing equipment
· Minimal editing will take place at the beginning and end of your footage
· AVI files separated into 15 minute segments and burnt onto a high quality DVD-R
· B/W title of your choice printed directly onto the disk
· DVD Library Case(s) with B/W text label

Turn around time for this service is 10 -14 working days dependant on time of year, but it is advisable to check with us first if you need your DVD's in a hurry.
