HOW WE DID IT

Our challenge was to work with various visually impaired adults and help them interpret paintings through sound.  We explored music, sound effects and spoken word to explore their interpretations.

Each of the participants was taken to a voice over recording studio to record introductions to their sound pieces.  Live sound recordings were made which reflected the paintings, poetry and music was specifically composed for these pieces all guided and controlled by the participants instructions.

DELIVERY METHOD

A CD was produced for the visitors to the museum to listen to whilst looking at the chosen paintings at the “Passion for Paint” exhibition at the Bristol Museum.
