Client: COI Youth Open Weekend

Brief: We were commissioned by the Central Office of Information (COI) to create a film about the importance of having a youth centre open on a Friday and Saturday night in Lockleaze, Bristol.  We needed to establish why the young people felt it was so important to be open on those nights, what they would be doing if they weren't there and the reason they choose to be at the youth centre and not anywhere else.

HOW WE DID IT

We only had one evening at Blake Youth Centre to do all the filming.  It was important to film the activities that were happening, but also have interview content from the young people who attended and the staff who run the youth centre. 

DELIVERY METHOD

The Blake Youth Centre project was uploaded to the official COI YouTube channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3tatlAN6y8

It was part of a national commission that showed what was going on in various areas of the country as part of the "Open Weekend" scheme.
